A website or mobile application is honestly never complete. There will always be updates done to browsers and services. We need to stay on top of things to make sure they continue working as expected. This also means that any new features you think of can always be added for an additional service cost if it is outside of the original project scope.
We like to keep the timeline of websites around 1 month and mobile applications around the 3 month mark. This is considering that there is timely communication for requested information.
We would have to first see how your project is built. Most of the time we do take on projects made on platforms like Wordpress, Shopify, Wix etc and there are definitely certain limitations on those. We can and almost always find a way to do it by custom coding. If we can't, we won't start the project and suggest an alternative.
We base this on the overall project and usually by the feature. For websites it can be as simple as is it an e-commerce store or just a quick integration to an existing service (i.e. salesforce, hubspot, docusign etc). For Web apps or mobile applications (Think expedia, facebook, priceline or any other app that uses math and logic to do something), say it lets a user sign into a profile and view a roster based on a location. The features for this would include: User Profiles, Listings, and GPS functions. We do take into considerration the number of pages that need to be developed as they also take time on our end. This is why it is best to jump on a phone call to see what the actual scope is and we can give the best possible price based on value.
We have a post 30 day support phase where if something goes wrong or you have any questions we take care of it. We do have plans in place for continued development, maintenance and priority support.
